In 2011, I was introduced to UX Design while I was a Business Analyst at CGI Federal and the Healthcare.gov project. Before the primary UX team was stood up, I was tasked with designing the Individual Application and My Account experiences. Needless to say — I never looked back!
Since then, I have helped 17.7 million people get new health insurance, helped millions of people find hourly work, and connected Caribbean people with their home through music amongst others. My mom was able to get health insurance using an application I designed! That means something.
Along with the impact I have on the world; I value being a part of a design team of which I can continue to learn and grow. This has led me to join OneDesign at Capital One, where I am now “changing banking for good."
